As one of the supporting organizations of Smart-i Awards 2025, Inspira7 took part in an event that brought together innovative projects, technology-driven solutions, and leaders shaping the transformation of the insurance and InsurTech ecosystem. Designed to highlight innovation across the insurance industry, the event became a meeting point for a broad network ranging from insurance companies and InsurTech startups to technology providers and solution partners.
Held under the theme “InsurTech 2.0: Explore the Possibilities,” the Smart-i Awards 2025 Ceremony took place on Monday, 29 September 2025, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Swissôtel The Bosphorus Istanbul. Organized as part of the 14th Insurance Week, the event brought industry professionals together under one roof.
A Gathering Focused on the Future of Insurance
Smart-i Awards has been organized since 2022 with the aim of showcasing successful innovation-driven projects in the insurance industry, strengthening knowledge and experience sharing among ecosystem stakeholders, and encouraging the development of new ideas. The program is brought to life by the ecosystem of Akıllı Yaşam, Sigorta Gündem, PSM, and Erişim Medya.
The 2025 program evaluated projects across a wide range of areas shaping the future of insurance, including digital transformation, customer experience, data infrastructures, artificial intelligence applications, new products and services, and internal innovation.
A total of 34 awards across 10 main categories were presented during the ceremony. In 2025, leadership awards were also introduced for the first time under the titles “Insurance Leader of the Year,” “Inspiring Woman Leader of the Year,” “Young Leader of the Year,” and “Transformation Leader of the Year.”
Technology and Innovation Met the Future of Insurance
One of the key sessions of the awards program was the panel titled “Shaping the Future of Insurance through Technology and Innovation.”
Moderated by Prof. Dr. Selim Yazıcı, the session brought together executives from Türkiye Sigorta, Turkcell Digital Business Services, Treomind, and UiPath to discuss critical topics driving transformation across the insurance industry, including artificial intelligence, data, digitalization, evolving customer expectations, and next-generation insurance technologies.
From this perspective, Smart-i Awards stood out not only as an event recognizing successful projects, but also as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and industry interaction, where the changing structure of insurance, emerging business models, and new opportunities for cross-industry collaboration were discussed.
A Strong Ecosystem of Support and Collaboration
Smart-i Awards 2025 was made possible with the support of various stakeholders across the industry. The Insurance Association of Türkiye (TSB) served as the event’s Main Sponsor for the third consecutive year, while Türkiye Sigorta supported the event as Gold Sponsor and hosted the technology and innovation panel. RS Automotive Group also joined the event as an Award Sponsor.

One of the notable aspects of Smart-i Awards was its social impact approach. In 2025, application revenues generated through the competition were donated to the Turkish Education Foundation’s “WBN Türkiye Future Bees” scholarship fund, supporting the education of female university students studying engineering.
In this way, the program created a social impact model that not only encouraged innovation across insurance and technology, but also contributed to the development of the next generation of technology and engineering professionals.
